Sarah Myland Kaufman specializes in urban infrastructure policy and planning, particularly related to transportation, technology and their combination. She loves all things New York City, particularly its chaotic energy.

Sarah works for NYU's Rudin Center for Transportation Policy & Management, researching and organizing symposia on the intersection of transportation and technology. She previously worked for MTA
New York City Transit in Intelligent Transportation Systems, focusing on strategy and innovation.

Originally from New Rochelle, NY, Sarah received her B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, where she majored in Science Writing, and is now a distinguished alumna. She later received her Master of Urban Planning from New York University, where she wrote an award-winning thesis on bus arrival time systems.

This Sarah Kaufman is not the dance reviewer, photographer, or ultimate fighter by the same name.
